Knitting Girl

I found this today... on Etsy. She was painted by Emily Martin AKA The Black Apple. I think she is absolutely adorable. I might have to start using this technique when I'm knitting a scarf.

My other craft of choice is knitting. If you are a knitter or a crocheter, and you don't know about Ravelry, you should go there right now and sign up. You do have to sign up for Ravelry and you might have to wait a couple of days for someone to accept you, but it is so worth the wait.


Ravelry is an on-line community for knitters and crocheters that is a valuable resource for patterns (a bunch of which are free). You can also get yarn reviews which is incredibly helpful. You can keep a record of your stash, what needles you have, and you can keep track of all your projects.

I've been knitting for almost 4 years now and I joined Ravelry soon after I started and I don't know where I would be if I didn't have it.
